Dad and Mom flew to Hong Kong already, leaving their 3 daughters behind with the maid. Well, while they were gone, we can have everything to ourselves :)
Before my dad left, he drove us to the supermarket and asked if we wanted to buy anything. Steph and I grabbed our past time favourite snacks and dump them in the shopping basket. There was like Meiji Biscuits, Nutella spread, sweets, packets of milk, Milo powder, and ice cream. Steph also insisted on buying Sprite, then I glanced at her. I think she's mad about Sprite float with ice cream. *Shrugs*

Oh well, at first I could go, but due to the H1N1 and absence of a week from school, I guess I really cannot afford to. Missing 1 week of lessons is kinda of a lot to me. Sadly for me, I have to stay at home. The reasons also apply my sisters.

Since dad is away, I'll have to go school myself. Today, I left the house at 6.30am to meet Ah Tongs. I reached the destination to meet her at 6.53am! Jessie reached 7.03am! Supposedly to meet at 6.55am, and Hui Wen was seriously late. We really cannot to wait for her so we head to school first.
When we reached school, Mr Bala was like yelling at people to proceed to their homerooms quickly. Of course Tongs and I were hurried but Tongs said to ignore him. It was till our DM appeared and blew his whistle.
Then Mr Ong blew his whistle and yelled madly at us, " Beep..Beep! Hurry up to your homerooms! Morning assembly is going to start in 2 minutes!!! "
Then he continuously blew his whistle and yelled at people. Everybody started to run to their homerooms, then Tongs and I follow suit. I whispered to Tongs, " Like a military school eh? "

First lesson was Combined Humanities, aka the most stale and stodgy lesson. Mr C gave the class a set of notes, which was pretty pointless. The content is lacking of details. Example, the textbook has two pages of details, Mrs C's notes consist of 1 or 2 sentence. She claimed that we are already lucky to have her notes. I think I can do away with the notes, and I will definitely not to use it and study for the test/exam, or else prepare to flop it. C:

Yes, I have to admit. I had a few seconds nap during her class. But I doubt I was the only one. Others are rotting slowly, just that I had a faster rate. Yes I dozed off, till she called my name.
" Natalie ah, why are you looking down, huh? You want to be a doctor? "
Then I woke up, and was pondering at her remarks? What does looking down or dozing off have to do with wanting to be doctors? Ridiculous! Nonsense! Extraordinary Nutty!!!

Next was CME, thank God Mrs C gave the whole class that period to study for the another most-likely-the-whole-class-fail Physics Test. Oh well, if I passed that test, I'll go with Jie on a Shopping Spree to celebrate! Hoho!

The rest of the lessons were a bore to me. Boring boring boring! Can't the teachers be younger or talk more energetic? Very monotonous yeah!??!!

Yesterday as I was on the bus ride home, my mind of thinking of a lot of things. As I saw Hui Min's sms, I got even more worried.
" CCAs are suspended till further notice..."
Suddenly, my whole class started cheering and screaming, as if they striked lottery or something better. In fact, I think the WHOLE school was doing so. nAs for me, I don't know whether to be happy or sad. I don't have a band addiction or something like that. I just do not know how to say it to Boss...

Jia hui called my name and told me, " Natalie, no band leh! "
I just looked at her and sighed.

I'm trying to open the band room after school so that the band members can have sectionals or self practice. Unfortunately, GCE 'O' Levels Mother Tongue will be going on for the month of July. Hence, I don't even think I can open the room for more than 1/2 hour. Hui Min told me that other schools are opening their band rooms till 6pm. I felt like a worst bm then others.

In addition to the H1N1, all teachers seemed busy and are unable to help me with the band rooms keys. I even have some remedials and school ends later nowadays. Thank God the timetable has been changed. But so what? The 'O' Levels will be starting at 1.30pm. School ends at 1.15pm. How!?!

There is so much things bothering me now...
I pray to God, knowing that he will understand my worries and troubles. My friends don't seemed to know what's going on though..

My dad told me this morning that he and mom will be flying to Hong Kong end of July, and they will only come back after a week. At first, my mom was thinking of bringing the whole family along, that means I dont have to go to school for 1 week! :)

It's my grandmother's birthday soon, and my relatives will be flying to Hong Kong to celebrate this happy occasion! I also missed Hong Kong.

But she changed her mind...
Sheesh, it's so boring schooling in my school currently. There are faces I do not like to see, the management in the school sucks, it's so boring and dead here. Physics lessons are always a bore to me.
Whenever my friend goes, " Ah! Next lesson is Physics! "
And I will go, " Not Shahari again... "
Sometimes, I do not know what I have learnt during Physics. I do regretted taking it, sometimes I consider dropping it. There is no interest to me in this subject anymore...

I wish I go to Singapore Sports School, the facilities there are like heavenly! And then, I could represent Singapore and win medals and those shiny trophies. It's like a dream to me! But now, I guess it's too late.

Why can't we have PE like three times a week?? Oh boy, I do missed my primary school timetable. PE three times a week! Super cool!

Okay, Natalie Tay is super bored now... I wanna fly to Sydney next time and visit the Sydney Opera House. I wanna climb mount everest.... I wanna travel around the world, and go backpacking soon. Woohoo...!

Oh boy, not H1N1 again please! This morning I looked at The Straits Times. Sadly, the number of H1N1 cases has shot up to 315! I thought last week was only 168 cases...? I'm a little worried now. When I feel sick or have runny nose( which always happens ), I will not hestitate to grab my thermometer and start taking my temperature. It's really scary to contract this virus, even now I bring along a thermometer when I go out.

I hope MOE postpone the school holidays, because the H1N1 can easily be caught by youths below 20 years old! I'm really frightened by this shocking discovery. I mean... Who wants to catch this virus? I really hope MOE close the schools to prevent EVEN MORE local transmission!

By the way, Happy Birthday Samantha! :) Continue to strive hard in band and be even better!

Today I went to a church, finally!

The people there were really nice and they welcome Tiff, Tong and I to their church. Really looking forward to the next session, and will probarbly bring along some more friends of mine. Hmm.. I was also considering to attend their youth session, sounds interesting! :D

For the mid-year exams, I did fairly average...
Getting grade 'C' sucks, at least I did not fail any subjects, phew...
Tomorrow I will be getting back my Chemistry and EL paper, I'm quite confident of these two subjects so I should not worry much about.

Alright, updated blog. Happy people? :D
